The God:
1. Guidance Through Transitions
Anubis is known as a psychopomp, a guide for souls moving into the afterlife. He can help you navigate life's transitions—whether emotional, mental, or physical—providing clarity and assurance as you move from one phase to another.
2. Protection
In Egyptian mythology, Anubis protects the dead from harm and ensures the purity of their journey. Invoking Anubis can bring a sense of protection against negativity, emotional chaos, or spiritual harm.
3. Balance and Justice
Anubis oversees the "Weighing of the Heart" ceremony, where a soul's heart is measured against Ma’at's feather of truth. He can inspire you to live a balanced life, stay true to your moral values, and seek justice.
4. Healing and Renewal
As a god associated with mummification, Anubis symbolizes preservation and renewal. He can aid in healing old wounds, letting go of the past, and embracing transformation.
5. Facing Fears of Mortality
Anubis represents the mysteries of death and the afterlife, encouraging reflection on mortality. He can help you confront fears about death and find peace with the natural cycles of life and death.
6. Inner Strength
Anubis’s jackal-headed form embodies resilience in harsh environments. Connecting with Anubis spiritually can encourage inner strength, particularly during challenging times.
How to Connect With Anubis:
Visualize Anubis as a guide, standing at a threshold to lead you forward.
Use symbols of Anubis, like a jackal or scales, during rituals for transformation, protection, or justice. Journal about life transitions or challenges while invoking Anubis’s energy to guide you. Items like incense, black stones (obsidian or onyx), or representations of balance (small scales) can honor him.
